Matthew Ball obtained a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. As an undergraduate, he worked in Dr. Gregory Reeves’ lab on immunostaining of germline stem cells in fruit flies to quantify signaling pathways during cell division in the BMP pathway. Additionally, he has experience working in the chemical production industry, working at a paper mill and a chemical plant. He is now working in the microfluidics subgroup of the Han lab.
